Challenges
Novato's budget, staff, and resources are being severely tested in these challenging economic times, and the city may not have the capacity to do all that it wants to help promote or ensure the success of its programs, activities, and initiatives.
That's why MAR has offered its help and assistance to the government and residents of Novato to help ensure that homeowners, home sellers, and home buyers are fully aware of the Wildland Urban Interface ordinance so they can comply with all of its requirements.
MAR has offered to work with Novato officials to implement a seven-point education action plan to inform the public about the ordiance via flyers, advertising, Web sites, briefings, and coalition building.
The Marin Association of REALTORS(R) has a long and proud tradition of working closely with government and community leaders to help address a range of problems and concerns. We look forward to an opportunity to work with Novato to help ensure the successful promotion and implementation of the Wildland Urban Interface Ordinance.
